OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network (Canada) announced today its lineup for fall 2013 featuring new episodes of returning favourites Oprah’s Next Chapter, Oprah’s Lifeclass, Oprah: Where Are They Now?, Six Little McGheesWelcome to Sweetie Pie’sIyanla: Fix My Life and The Devil You Know. The network also introduced four new series including Addicted to the Life, a true crime documentary series that chronicles the lives of criminals who can’t break the habit; Motives and Murder: Cracking the Case, a true crime drama that returns to the scenes of the most perplexing crimes to reveal the clues that led detectives to the killers; Final 24, a documentary series exploring the last 24 hours in the lives of iconic figures; and Houston Beauty, a series that follows the owners and eclectic trainees of the oldest continuously operated licensed beauty school in Texas.

The new series, Golden Sisters, follows the outrageous, real-life adventures of MaryJosie and Teresa, three golden-aged sisters who shot to fame after a web video of the trio viewing the Kardashian sex tape went viral. Golden Sisters premieres with two all-new episodes airing back-to-back Monday, June 17 from 8-9 p.m. ET, and will air back-to-back episodes Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network (Canada).

The Commission issues a mandatory order requiring OWN Inc. to ensure that OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network complies with its nature of service definition, which is to provide formal and informal educational programming and learning opportunities that generally focus on adult education and that come from a full spectrum of basic, credit-based, skills-related and life-enhancing programs. Further, the Commission provides guidelines and imposes reporting and monitoring requirements to ensure the licensee’s compliance with its conditions of licence and regulatory requirements.
