Led by the blockbuster, record-breaking, fan-favourite THE AMAZING RACE CANADAwith an average audience of 3.33 million viewers each week, original dramas SAVING HOPE (1.24 million) and THE LISTENER (1.09 million) also rank among the Top 15 most-watched programs in the country. CTV’s QUESTION PERIOD launches its 43rd season with new host Robert Fife at the helm, beginning Sunday, Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. ET. The Canadian Broadcast Standards Council (CBSC) today released its decision concerning a news report broadcast on CTV Northern Ontario (CICI-TV, Sudbury) about a malfunctioning furnace.  The CBSC concluded that the report contained unfair and incomplete information contrary to the codes of ethics of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) and Radio Television Digital News Association of Canada (RTDNA).

CTV confirmed today finale dates for Canada’s #1 summer schedule. With just five episodes to go for CTV’s THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, viewers tuning in by the millions each week will soon find out which team crosses the mat first and takes home the historic half-a-million dollar grand prize at the conclusion of Canada’s #1 summer series on Sept. 16. Viewers will also discover who comes out on top in Canada’s sizzling #2 reality series (and #3 series overall) MASTERCHEF (Sept. 11).
