The Season 7 premiere was the biggest debut yet for the series with 4.31 million viewers, while the all-new episode that followed delivered the most-watched (overnight) audience ever for the series in Canada, with an incredible 4.61 million viewers. CTV Saskatchewan News Director Carl Worth announced today that Creeson Agecoutay will host and co-produce INDIGENOUS CIRCLE. Agecoutay makes his debut this fall on the station’s weekly current affairs program focusing on First Nations and Métis communities. A 2013 graduate of the University of Regina School of Journalism, Agecoutay was raised on the Cowessess First Nation, and joined CTV Regina as an intern in 2008. He later assumed part-time video journalist duties for the station while attending the U of R.

CTV announced today in association with Foundation Features and Lark Productions that production has begun on Season 2 of original Canadian cop drama MOTIVE. The #1 new Canadian scripted series of the 2012/2013 TV season*, MOTIVE wrapped its first season with an average audience of 1.1 million viewers. The 13-episode, one-hour drama starring Kristin Lehman as Detective Angie Flynn, shoots in and around Vancouver through January 2014, leading up to its mid-season debut on CTV.
